Our Vision at Woodcrest Elementary is to become a learning community in which students, parents, teachers, administrators, and staff support one another to create an academically challenging environment that regularly practices strengthens the mindset of all stakeholders so that we continuously practice respect, perseverance, and creativity, so that we are able to grow and adapt as life long learners in a diverse global society.

Nuestra visión en Woodcrest Elementary es convertirnos en una comunidad de aprendizaje en la que estudiantes, padres, maestros, administradores y personal se apoyen entre sí para crear un ambiente académicamente desafiante que practique regularmente y fortalezca la mentalidad de todas las partes interesadas para que practiquemos continuamente el respeto, la perseverancia y la creatividad, para que podamos crecer y adaptarnos como estudiantes de por vida en una sociedad global diversa.

About Our School:

Woodcrest Elementary School provides for the instructional needs of approximately 632 students in Los Angeles, California. It is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District is supported by services from Local District South.  Our school has a traditional calendar meaning our school year begins in August and ends in June. Our school provides continuous professional development for  teachers and paraprofessionals, education classes for parents, and Beyond the Bell and After School programs.
